Who we are?

Martaş was established in 1972 as a co-operative to process the abundance of high-quality agricultural food products grown in the Marmara region, known as Turkey’s most fertile agricultural region. Through the years it became one of the leading processors and exporter company of both conventional and organic frozen Fruit and Vegetable products with its two processing plants, located one in Bursa and another in Mustafakemalpaşa giving a combined 40 tons of fruits and vegetables processing capacity with 30 tons of cold storage facilities. We are producer and packer of 100% organic IQF fruits and vegetables, tomato paste and diced tomatoes.

Most of the raw materials are supplied from fields which are contracted with local farmers and harvested by our own harvesters under strict controls and supervision of Martaş’s own team of agronomists. Martaş agricultural team closely monitors the growth progress in the fields, carrying out regular controls on the raw materials and supervise the use of fertilizers and pesticides when necessary.

The management and employees of Martaş welcome the opportunity to serve its customers with their full range of frozen ingredients which are available in industrial packaging of 1kg upto 20 kg as well as varied retail packs. Both Martaş factories are BRC, ISO9001, ISO22000 and SEDEX accredited. Also Martaş team takes it a very serious obligation to deliver high quality products and service, when the customers need it and where they need it, for the best value.

A special pride is taken by all Martaş personnel in ensuring that each and every contract is fulfilled to the customers specifications and targeted the best possible service from field to the final destination. State of the art technology is being used to meet the most demanding standards and to provide valued customers top quality ingredients that have been produced in a food safe and hygienic environment. This is done by a most experienced professional production team.

Tomato paste facility is also located in Mustafakemalpaşa site where the best fresh tomatoes are grown. All tomatoes used for the production are supplied from contracted farmers. Fully automatic production line enables us to produce 1/2kg, 1kg or 5kg cans as well as 220lt aseptic drums. With 3 lines, 3,000 mt daily tomato processing capacity in total, we can produce 30,000 mt of tomato paste during the season. Martaş can also produce peeled diced tomatoes in 1/2kg and 5kg cans. Like in the frozen part, Martaş has the objective to serve its partners/customers the best quality product with the best possible service.
